EAST at Gosnell has undertaken a mission to make Gosnell Elementary School a No Place for Hate environment. GPAC team members are planning activities to encourage kindness and inclusion for all students. This movement is student-driven, with all activities created/initiated by a team made up of EAST students, other students, parents, teachers, and administrators.
We hope our Pirate Family will join us in our efforts to become Positive Agents of Change in our school and community! To learn more or to sign our GPAC Promise, please contact EAST Facilitator Karla Shaw (870.532.4005) or email EAST at [email protected].

Our first No Place for Hate activity was to introduce students to the Buddy Bench on the playground! EAST students created an animation to illustrate how the "BB" is supposed to be used. Each grade then went to the "BB" and took a 360 photo!
Students, parents and teachers are all welcome to sign the NPFH Promise and add their names to GPAC! |

CAREER DAY VIDEO-SERIES
Students in 6th grade EAST are producing a video series to educate students about various career fields.
The videos are being shown to grades 5-6 during lunch each week on the big screen in the cafeteria.
These students are also planning a "Career Day" event where students can dress as their
planned career and do presentations based on research of those career fields.
